As part of early preparations, a delegation from the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (EBBF), led by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board, conducted an inspection of The Agenda ahead of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, scheduled for July 26, 2026.
Ahmed Johar, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Board Member; Mohammed Shaheen Al Hosani Board Member; and world champion Issa Al Dah were part of the delegation accompanied Sheikh Abdullah during his visit.
The delegation The Agenda’s (event venue in Dubai) facilities, technical and logistical arrangements, and received a detailed briefing from the site officials on the readiness for hosting, ensuring the organization of a championship befitting the UAE’s stature in sports event management.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi praised the advanced infrastructure of The Agenda, appreciating the efforts of the Organizing Committee and their dedication to providing all factors for success, reflecting the professionalism in organizing sports events in the country.
He emphasized that the UAE Championship is one of the most prominent and competitive local tournaments, serving as an important platform for discovering and nurturing national talents. He noted that in past years, the championship has contributed to producing a distinguished group of national team players who achieved Asian and international achievements.
He also pointed out that the upcoming edition is expected to witness wide participation and high technical levels, reflecting the development of the sport in the UAE and affirming the country’s position as a sports destination capable of producing champions.
On his part, Ahmed Johar expressed the Organizing Committee’s aspirations to witness outstanding performances during the championship, which will help in selecting the best athletes for the national team in preparation for the World Championship scheduled in Ajman, representing the country honorably and in a manner befitting its sports reputation.
