Dubai Civil Defence successfully contained a fire at a building under construction in the JBR area, with no injuries reported during the incident.
According to a Dubai Civil Defence official, the operations room received an alert at 7:06 AM on Wednesday regarding the fire in JBR. The Marina Fire Station, designated as the first responder, promptly mobilized and reached the location within seven minutes.
The official explained that the fire occurred at a construction site and was classified as a moderate-level incident. Firefighting teams immediately began efforts to control the blaze. The field commander later confirmed that the fire had been brought under control and had entered the cooling phase, with no injuries sustained.
It was further noted that once cooling operations are completed, the site will be handed over to the concerned authorities as per standard procedures.
